A nod to the efforts of the staff at Llano Idea, Farrago Productions lends its concept for "Original PubFest" to their cause. "Original PubFest" is at face value a book convention and fair, using as its venue a local bar with musicians. Musicians add to the events in order to create a comfortable rapport between literary and independent/DIY musicians. This event challenges the formality of standard book fairs and/or conventions, allowing for a casual approach without sacrificing quality. The original concept as conceived by Farrago Productions staff Michael McConnell and Rob King gives members of a local community a chance to see what's being produced independently both in the printed word and in the music subculture of their area.
